Since her glorious return in 2021, 1980s punk rock icon Cindy Lawson has not stopped producing hits. The musician from Minneapolis has recently released the powerful high voltage garage rock anthem The Reckoning. It is a heavyweight empowerment track for everyone who has been wronged, mistreated or betrayed. The Reckoning is a song about karma and its works – and yes, this is about schadenfreude. And to complete this banger, Chelsea Oxborough has directed a music video which perfectly displays Cindy Lawson‘s unbreakable energy. The video has been published on 10 October 2025.
