Roller Dome – Ripped
Album | 07/07/2023 | Independent
Gloom Rock / Desert Sludge
Boise, ID, USA
The flickering light of the sun shining above a deserted wasteland around meets the incomparable feeling of getting run over by a ginormous boulder. The speech is of Roller Dome’s debut album Ripped on which the quartet from Idaho presents a very refreshing approach to heavy and apocalyptic sound. Feel the heat and embrace the gloom!

Alpha Strategy – Staple my Hand to Yours
EP | 08/07/2023 | Independent
Noise Rock / Post Punk
Prague, Czechia
Half a decade after the release of their sophomore longplayer The Gurgler, Prague’s Alpha Strategy is back with a new line-up and a new EP. Four tracks defined by nihilism, dadaism and screaming echoes of the weird world we live in are consolidated under the title Staple my Hand to Yours. The EP may not contain the easiest and accessible sound, but there is plenty of next-level fun to be explored behind the walls of noise.

RUST – Double Denim and a Bottle of Bleach
Album | 08/07/2023 | Dammit Records
Hardcore Punk / Oi!
Sydney, Australia
On their latest release, the Australian band goes straight forward leadfootedly. Compromise or breaks for catching one’s breath are not to be found on this longplayer since RUST provide some honest and heavy highspeed Hardcore and Oi! Punk. Double Denim and a Bottle of Bleach is far from the reinvention of the wheel but can definitely work as a soundtrack for savage parties or road rages.
