Once upon a time in England there was an alternative rock band called Tabitha Zu. Between 1992 and 1994, the eloquently snotty group released a split single with Homage Freaks, and two 12” EPs. The first of the EPs, the three-track record On Reality was published via Tortoise Liberation Front in 1992, and its A-Side shall now finally be revived for a global audience. For the first time, this banging alternative rock anthem can be streamed and downloaded. Tabitha Zu‘s frontwoman Melanie Garside (also known as Maple Bee) presents a remastered version of this classic. And fans of the original alternative rock movement, supporters of the grunge revival, and many music lovers outside and between will agree: this early 90s track is still cooking hot and wrecking house.
