Time Travelling Multiple Times
Once upon a time, in an era called the 80s, rebellious music was loud, dirty, and aggressive. Bands like Black Death (later known as Darkthrone), Hellhammer and their successors Celtic Frost, Bathory, or Amebix coined the soundtrack of a whole movement. From punk to metal, new subgenres and crossovers were born. And of course, tributes or revivals of this episode have frequently shaken eardrums and minds of later generations.
In 1996, one-person black metal band Bealiah began operating in Indonesia, and after the release of some demo tapes, the band was renamed to Doctor D in 2000. The year 2002 should have been Doctor Ds big breakthrough but due to undisclosed reasons the record label refused to publish full length album D-Liverance. After playing with other black metal bands for two consecutive years, Doctor D dispappeared from the music scene. He might have spent the last twenty years somewhere in outter space, and has finally returned. Doctor D is back, and he is finally letting is enjoy the raw sound of his 2002 release. Here is the re-imagined version of D-Liverance; this is Time Loop!
Timeless Noise
This 80s metal revival is loud, angry, remorseless, and direct. You can use terms such as black metal, thrash metal, death metal, crust, d-beat, or metal punk, and when all readers contribute to this list, we might end up with a long read. Time Loop is a dry-aged gem, a rusty, crusty, dusty piece of noise. Recorded in 2002, remastered in 2025, here are 36 minutes of raw sounds to blow your minds.
We will dance again
