With Scavengers, Eric Angelo Bessel gives a first little insight to his upcoming longplayer Mirror At Night. The album will be published as 12” vinyl via Lore City on 31 October. It will contain twelve experimental tracks that deal with in-betweenness or intermediate realms. On Scavengers, an orchestra of ghost hands plays on broken string instruments while a cold breeze whirls the sounds around in endless cycles. For almost 200 seconds, Eric Angelo Bessel serves an avantgardist sounscape which directly activates the listeners’ fantasy and imagination.

Tel Aviv’s quintet Particle X merges the sounds of the 70s with the mood of the 00s and presents this hot alloy with a modern and catchy twist. Five members, each of them socialised with different musical backgrounds, have contributed to this amazing sonic cocktail. Between powerful anthems like War Cry or atmospheric bangers such as Pieces, Particle X cover a wide range of styles and moods without losing cohesion. Roads is a thunderstorm of a debut album by a band we will hopefully hear a lot from in the future.

The song was inspired by the emotional drama Lars & The Real Girl, in which Ryan Gosling plays the role of an outsider who finds love in a life-size doll. RightHandWave serve eloquent and chequered indie rock driven by love, sunshine and passion. Rebound Girl merges fragility with hope, and highlights the emotional world of a calm soul.
