From the Toxic Underground

A new plague has risen when forces of the Helsinki underground joined forces in early 2024. Formed as a trio, they quickly began to summon sonic demons by combining sludgy, crusty, and aggressive sounds, and stirring them up to create their very own wormridden death metal. Here, the darkest of hardcore and crust punk is shaken by blood thirsty metal and sounds from the hottest pits of hell. Brace yourselves, here are Grave Hex with their debut album Vermian Death.

Time Waits For No Pest

Formed in March, Grave Hex immediately found their groove, and hence finished recording Vermian Death after three sessions during the summer of 2024. This path from the initial summoning to the first volcano of venom may have been short. But neither does the result sound of hasty production nor of immature production. On the contrary, Vermian Death is a solid, coherent, and confident sledgehammer of a debut work. Like a rollercoaster that leads through the nine circles of hell, Grave Hex slide from neckbreaking crusty death metal attacks into swampy spheres of blackened sludge and back.

The Cult Is Growing

With Hanna joining the band as a bass player shortly after the debut album was finished, Grave Hex have grown to be a quartet. With this formation, the infernal ambassadors shall spread the word of the Vermian Death on stage. Crusty metal punks from all around the world, open your ears and let the infested sound of Grave Hex in.

We will dance again
