Indya – Raise ya Vibration feat. Israelite
(Single | 26/11/2022 | Independent)
Kentish act Indya has been praised for their Progressive Rock hymns, and in Prog circles they have been called a new sensation. The single ‚Raise ya Vibration‘ featuring Israelite nevertheless explores different paths. The band around Laudez Rose creates a gigantic wave-shaped movement that reaches from laidback Reggae to sharp-edged Alternative Metal, and thereby they provide us with a powerful anthem for embracing our own strengths.

About Bunny – Cut Up
(Single | 16/12/2022 | 40Deep Entertainment)
British-Swedish quartet About Bunny get off to a vertical start with their music. When Alyx Holcombe played them on BBC Rock Introducing, there was no doubt that this band has tons of potential with their wild mix of Post Punk and New Wave on the one hand, and Garage and Alternative Rock on the other. ‚Cut Up‘ is a legit Garage Rock wrecking ball, heavily rolling, remorselessly shooting, and absolutely catchy – a pure gem from their EP „Mixtape Vol. 1“.

Tiny Banshee – Rent free
(Single | 13/12/2022 | Independent)
‚Rent free‘ is opened by a Rock’n’Roll riff heavy as a barrel, then slides into an atmospheric Synth Rock passage which smoothly weans in an offbeat Indie Rock verse à la No Doubt. And then there is that chorus that is impossible not to sing along to: „I will never be your commodity!“. Atlanta’s Tiny Banshee are back with a bang, and with a confidence-raising banger.

Seasaw – Laugh along
(Single | 20/01/2023 | Independent)
‚Laugh along‘ is the third ex ante single off Seasaw’s upcoming album „Projecting“. The band from Wisconsin energetically jumps back and forth between fuzzy Garage sounds and dynamic Indie Pop. The new single comes with much more agility than the previous two songs and thus raises the anticipation for the album which will drop on April 21, 2023.

Shannon Hawley – Our History
(Single | 20/01/2023 | Independent)
The synthesizers pile up like clouds before a torrential tempest while sharp guitar riffs shoot across that electrified soundscape like bolts of lightning. And amidst this overwhelming spectacle, Shannon Hawley’s ethereal vocals direct this impressive display. The Californian artist sings of the stories that make who we are, and about the unbreakable ties between our past, present and future.

Mickey Nomimono – Mr Relatable
(Single | 24/01/2022 | Independent)
‚Mr Relatable‘ is the kind of song that joyfully tears apart genres and musical styles just to patch them up in a whole new way. A beat that reminds of Crass-like Anarcho Punk and a Post Punk bass line scratch on breakbeats while Mickey Nomimono’s rap vocals tear down all conventions. You may place the artist from Sheffield somewhere between Bob Vylan and Sleaford Mods, and still Mickey Nominomo is a name you should keep in mind.
