Somewhere between a half-broken coffee machine and thoughts on the daily struggle that we call life in late capitalism, an idea was born. Hamburg’s Iri Antler has turned, twisted, and distorted this idea, and transformed it into a song. The result is a sophisticated, glitchy, and intense dark pop track. Finish Line lets the listeners join the endless race without winners, the eternal grind, and the desperate wish for silence and recovery. For the music video, Iri Antler chose themes from classic German fairy tales and horror fiction to spice up the song’s darkness even further.
