Fabio Cicala – The Words I Didn’t Say

Single | 14/02/2025
3:49 | Digital
Progressive Folk / Neo Classic
London, England

There are certain aspects that support the thesis that The Words I Didn’t Say is a love song. Not only was this bittersweet solo which is full of romanticism and passion released on Valentine’s Day. Artist Fabio Cicala also had a crush on his mind when he composed this delicate tune. Folk, Pop, Baroque, Neo Classicism, and even Progressive Rock come together in this colourful and ambrosian bouquet of a passionate track. And beyond expressing the deepest desires and merging musical styles, The Words I Didn’t Say is a confident presentation of Fabio Cicala’s artistic development. Alongsdide eight other tracks, it shall reflect on the musician’s progress he made since he relocated from Italy to England in 2014.

Nate Vickers – A Little Too Late

Alternative Rock / Alternative Pop
Houston, Texas, USA

If you have not heard of Nate Vickers yet, this is a good chance to catch up. The musician from Houston is a bright rising star in the realms of Rock and Pop music, and in late 2024 he has released his first EP A Little Too Late via Oxide Records. On the seven tracks, you can clearly hear that Nate Vickers was influenced by the Alternative Rock an Nu Metal movements of the early 2000s with legendary artists like Linkin Park, Three Doors Down, or Hoobastank. But this is not a nostalgic release, it is a powerfully emancipating soun instead. On songs full of emotions and empathy, Nate Vickers presents a new wave of Rock music, powered by the energy that emerges between the poles of heavy music and deep sensuality.

The Afro Nick – Get There Before Noon (LA Mix)

Single | 22/11/2024
3:42 | Digital/Video
Alternative Rock / Indie Rock
Los Angeles, California, USA

This song by The Afro Nick is a reminder that no matter life can often be unfair, cruel, or disillusioning, it bears chances and opportunities nevertheless. The band’s frontman Nick Anastasakis refers to a day when he woke up with a hangover but had an appointment at the same day. Knowing that he had to Get There Before Noon, Nick realised that his life was in his own hands, and he can navigate the direction of this one life that he has. We can probably all agree that The Afro Nick made the right decision when recording and publishing this song because it is a catchy, somewhat psychedelic Rock anthem that spreads empowerment and courage. The synthesizesr on this stunning track were played by Leonardo Genovese who is not related to the author of this text.
