American Screen Destiny Pictures presents…
… a soundtrack to a film that has never been screened. Nor filmed. Nor written. Nor planned. Well, probably, most readers know what the official soundtrack to Give Daddy the Knife Cindy readers really was. Neverthless, here’s a brief summary. The soundtrack to the non-existent Horror B-Movie was actually just an album by Garage Rock band Naz Nomad and the Nightmares containing ten cover versions and two original tracks. And Naz Nomad and the Nightmares? They were actually The Damned.
A Great Illusion
What Naz Nomad and the Nightmares created here is an amazing and holistic hommage to the visual and musical aesthetics of the 1960s. They created a whole illusion about a film and its soundtrack by releasing its re-issue, and by covering tracks from pathbreaking artists of the 1950s and especially the 1960s rock music scene. Although the film Give Daddy the Knife Cindy has never been produced, its soundtrack has indeed cinematic character.
