Gardeners‘ Black Metal and Undertakers‘ Tennis

French trio POLes are a perfect example of how thin the line between genius and insanity can be sometimes. Their latest EP which was originally released in 2014, and re-released on tape via Tales From The Crypt Recordings in 2023 transfers the listeners into a world of darkness, dizziness, and heavy ludic dreaming.

A Noise Odyssey

Considering, Pamplemoustique is predominantly a Math Rock, Dissonant Metal, Noise, and Punk EP, the psychedelic effect of these four tracks is sheer amazing. Alongside rough edges and sharp lines, POLes create a strong vortex that twists and drags the listeners‘ minds. These four dissonant and experimental tracks redeploy the audience’s attention to a parallel sphere, to a dark but comfortable sphere. This is some serious dark meditation.
