Life is complex, and life in our post modern world has a trait of constantly becoming more complex, weird and tough. In this reality, all of us have to give up on certain benefits in order to make a compromise and thus make the best of what they get. Readjusting dreams and goals over and over again, it often feels like being in a spiral that drifts away from the ideal with every moment. It is therefore important to take a stand for what is right, and to help each other escape the rat race. But still, life is complex, and easy answers for tricky questions are the game of the rabble-rousers and populists.
Cologne’s svynx present a different approach. Both, musically and content-wise, they dissolve abstruse complexity into refreshing clarity.
