In January of this year, Mor Lavi released the four-track EP 232. The four artistic and piano-driven Pop tunes tell of the artist’s childhood growing up in כֶּרֶם שָׁלוֹם (Kerem Shalom), the kibbutz situated closest to Gaza. Mor Lavi tells of seeking safety in the shelters when there is another missile alert, and of the constant fear of another terrorist attack. The artist who now lives in Tel Aviv has produced a breathtaking and stunning album which tells stories that have unfortunately come back to life in the most terrible way recently.
A live session of the album has furthermore been published in April 2023, and watching it one can dream back to better days, and it encourages to work forward a better future.
