This is where it all began. For three years, reviews, interviews, news and more were posted on this blogspot page until MangoWave moved to the current site in September 2022.
Featured Playlist of the Week
The playlists are still there, but posting a featured playlist of the week every Monday did not seem to catch the readers‘ attention too much. If you think that the playlist of the week should return, feel free to send me an e-mail to raphael@mangowave-magazine.com. Nevertheless, there will be featured Spotify playlist underneath each post.
Black Elephant Sunday
He did it when releasing his album „A Masterpiece of Indecision“ and he repeated the procedure for the album „Fixing Great Mistakes with Duct Tape„: The Black Elephant Band released a new song of the album every Sunday, and MangoWave followed him. It is therefore likely for this category to return.
Fresh Mango
A relict from the old page, the Fresh Mango contained several short reviews. Over time, the quantity of reviews per post decreased while content itself grew. It was thus time to say goodbye to the Fresh Mango series in early 2023, and introduce the Short Reviews category.
Short Reviews
This category only lasted until March 2023. Short reviews are still a thing, but now they can be found in the category Flashlight.
Record of the Week
The Record of the Week has not completely been removed, but it has been changed to be an Instagram-only thing.
