On their previous concept album Sick Day, Afterbirth Cartoons invited us into the various relity of hating your job. Almost one and a half years later, they are back with another concept album. Fire Flowers is also set in front of a screen within a rotten world, but this time the story’s characters smoke weed and play video games. The rating for this funky joint should be somewhere between 420 and 666 points.

The band from Seattle shoots giant thunderbolts of heavy rock sound and illuminates the night with their anthemic songs. Even though, Trip the Wire may not win prices for ingenuity, it is a highly entertaining Hard Rock album.
