Once upon a time in Europe…
… three years after the release of their fourth studio album Violent Theatre, Argentina’s psychedelic doom occultists Mephistofeles were on tour. It was their first time playing shows in Europe. And it turned out to be a very succesful tournee. With their new drummer Luca Frizza, the trio from Paraná spread hell, doom, and joyful heavyness. Two of these concerts have now been made available for your living rooms, car stereos, or doom metal party sessions. Turn up the volume and dive into Mephistofeles playing at Arnhem, Netherlands on October 17th, and Barcelona, Spain on November 11th 2025.
Dawning of a New Era
For Mephistofeles who have succesfully spearheaded the occult, psychedelic, and eschatologic music scene of Argentina, a new episode has begun. Alongside founding members Ismael Dimenza (bass) and Gabriel Ravera (vocals and guitars), Luca Frizza has joined the band as their new drummer. And the band’s first Europe tour has furthermore lead to their signing with Rome’s label Heavy Psych Sounds who will very likely organise many more dates on the Northern Hemisphere for Mephistofeles. First part of this collaboration is the double album on hand, the twenty-track collection of two concerts, the heavy double longplayer Live In Europe.

Live In Europe is the kind of live album that might make all parties and fractions happy. Die-hard fans from the first days can indulge in their idols’ breakthrough to international success.
