Looking for the Roots

The song ‚Better Days‘ was originally written in the year 2011. British artist Nick could already look back on two decades of professional music then. The South England-based vocalist and songwriter has been known for performing with Peter Hook & The Light, Temple Hedz, The Speak, The Christians, or Dodgy to name a few. Yet, ‚Better Days‘ was a very personal song that has long been unreleased. In this ambient Folk song, Nick shares his thoughts and dreams about what it would be like if he knew his biological father. It was 2018, when the musician who grew up in an adoptive family received the information that his birth father was Bee Gees member Maurice Gibb. Three years later, he hence decided to re-record the track together with Scott & Maria Acoustic Duo and finally release it.
