Three years ago, the three managers of anger have already introduced us to their energetic path to salvation with their debut album Anger Is Energy. And here they come again, continuing to transform negative energy into creative energy. Anger MGMT.‘s sophomore longplayer is the logical successor to the first album. Our world has orbited the sun for three times, some things have gotten worse, Anger MGMT. have improved their songwriting, and the eternal energy source of anger is still omnipresent. Although the impact of post punk sounds may be a little smaller than on the debut album, Anger Is Eternal is by far more versatile than its predecessor. Anger MGMT. dare to step into the realms of hardcore punk with the crushing banger Cut The Rot featuring Bubonix‘ Thorsten Polomski, or implemented sounds of Northern European alternative and punk rock music in the anthemic track Echoes.
