Doom is inevitable
CADÛ’s second longplayer Psychotic Parade is based on a rather simple yet sober thought: probably we are not going to save this planet after all. Humankind has lost the battle against themselves, and our species has succesfully screwed their home planet and their future. This dry realisation has the potential to drag the recipients down into a deep chasm of selfhatred and desolation. But there is another way. CADÛ are here to help us escape that spiral of negativity. Thus, they are inviting us to join the Psychotic Parade.
Psychedelic Celebration
The Psychotic Parade is a gigantic frenzy, a profound celebration and embrace of the last days. Therefore, CADÛ provide us with the sound that activates happiness hormones, and lets their audience dive into a colourful and psychedelic parallel world. Here, the achievements of myriads of battles for freedom can be marvelled at. Music that shakes body and mind, sounds that easily cross cultural borders, and soundscapes that activate the inner eye create a fantastic frenzy, a joyful celebration of the end of days.
Free from compulsion
On seven songs and a bonus track, CADÛ create a soundscape as free as it can be. When funky licks merge in Heavy Rock tides, or Prog Rock monoliths dissolve in acidic Space Rock, multiple synapses are being tickled simultaneously. CADÛ manage to play music which allows all kind sof physical responses: you can sit still and dive into the dope sonic spheres, you can also go wild and shake your limbs to the heavy sounds, and everything between and beyond works, too. Open your ears, be free, enjoy the sound, and respond in your own way. Who should judge you? It’s the end of days!
