Adding another dimension
In late 2023, Marco Campitelli’s project Oslo Tapes released their fourth album Staring at the Sun before goin‘ blind with the help of an international collaboration of three labels. On eight tracks, Campitelli and his fellow musicians present artistic transformations and a sonic reverie that goes beyond the realms of Kraut, Post, Art or Noise Rock. The album track Like a Metamorphosis which features Nicola Amici (Kaouenn) has recently been enhanced by another layer as it received a music video created by Marco Di Battista. Douse into a fantastic world, a dream-like and avantgardist transformation powered hallucinatory imagery and expressionist craftsmanship.
