Welcome to the Bunker
Here we are with another The Mountain King release. On the latest longplayer, the band from Mainz perform as a trio. Bitcrusher Robert Furbished, guitarist Frank Grimbarth, and Eric McQueen being responsible for bass, guitars and Techno invite us to a postapocalyptic party.
Fueled by Sadness and Zeitgeist
The two short films above reveal that Zeitgeist Exorcism is far from being a meaningless party soundtrack, but a proactive escape from the hardships our times instead. Nine tracks, eight of them longer then seven minutes each, combine trancy Techno with doomy Drone and thereby create a soundscape that catches the momentum between destruction and recreation. And last but not least, fans of The Mountain King’s Doom Metal do not come away empty-handed either, since the album’s final track is a Doom Metal version of the album track Contrapropaganda.
